Our point of view

upTownArt connects artists and collectors directly. We curate for conviction, craft and an individual visual language rather than noise.

upTown Art is becoming the upTown Art 26 association. This new structure creates room for original ideas, fresh energy and a contemporary direction without losing the personal closeness that has defined the space from the beginning.

A living place

The exhibition space on Sporgasse is being redesigned as a welcoming, lively place with room for more artistic positions. Art here is not only viewed; it is discussed, experienced and carried into everyday life.

The Graz space and our digital channels belong together. The gallery creates encounters in person; the website, store and social formats carry artworks and their stories further.

The team

Patrick Gallaun leads the association and is responsible for artist relations and curatorial development. Michael König Weichhardt connects art, visual design and technology. Together they are shaping the next chapter of upTownArt.
