I am sitting on the rocks in the surf and watching the sunset in its glowing colors. A stormy wind rushes and blows fine drops of water into my face. The seagulls cry loudly and dive for fish along the coast before a thunderstorm comes up. I too will soon make my way home, but I still want to watch the waves and feel the power of nature. Then I suddenly see a fin, but as quickly as it appeared, it is gone again. Is that a swimmer? In these waves? Or is it a mermaid that has strayed to the water’s surface? I play with my thoughts and my gaze sinks into the waves.
